How we plan, quote and deliver your journey, and the terms on which we work together.
Last updated: 7 July 2026
Tourkom is a travel brand operated by Yalla Tours DMC (yallatoursdmc.com), a destination management company registered in the Arab Republic of Egypt and a member of the Egyptian Travel Agents Association (ETAA), licence no. 1504.
Yalla Tours DMC is part of Stylish Group (stylish-group.com). In these Terms, references to "Tourkom", "we", "us" and "our" mean the Tourkom brand as operated by Yalla Tours DMC.
These Terms & Conditions govern the planning and booking of travel arrangements with Tourkom, together with our Privacy Policy. They form the basis of the agreement between you and us. By requesting a proposal, paying a deposit or confirming a booking, you accept these Terms on behalf of yourself and everyone in your party.
The person who makes the booking (the "lead traveller") must be 18 or over, is responsible for the accuracy of the details provided for the whole party, and accepts financial responsibility for the booking. Every program shown on this website is a sample itinerary intended to inspire; each real journey is built individually around your interests, pace and dates.
Planning begins when you share your ideas with us. We then check availability and prepare a tailor-made proposal and quotation. A binding contract comes into existence only once you have accepted a written confirmation from us and the required deposit has been received. Until you hold a written confirmation from us, please do not purchase international flights or make other non-refundable arrangements.
Paying a deposit or balance confirms that the lead traveller and party have read and accepted these Terms. Your confirmed booking, read together with these Terms and the accompanying quotation, forms the entire agreement between us.
Each quotation sets out the deposit required to confirm your booking and the schedule for paying the balance. Deposit levels and balance due dates vary by season, by whether flights are included and by the arrangements requested, and are always stated in writing on your quotation before you commit. We do not quote a single fixed deposit or price on this website.
Accepted payment methods are set out on your quotation. Any bank, card-processing or transfer charges that apply are shown at the time of quotation. We use secure, PCI-compliant payment channels; we do not store raw card details on our own systems.
Prices are confirmed individually on each quotation and the currency is stated there. Any figures shown elsewhere on this website are indicative only and are not final quotations. Until a booking is confirmed, quoted prices may change to reflect movements in supplier costs, domestic flight or fuel costs, taxes and levies, or exchange rates, and we may correct genuine errors.
Once your booking is confirmed and the deposit paid, the price of the arrangements in your confirmation will not change, save for government-imposed taxes or unavoidable cost increases outside our control, which will always be explained to you.
If you need to cancel, the lead traveller must tell us in writing. Cancellation takes effect on the date we receive your written notice. Because we commit to suppliers on your behalf, cancellation charges rise as the travel date approaches. Your quotation sets out the charges that apply to your specific booking; the tiers below reflect the structure commonly used across the Egyptian travel industry.
| Notice before arrival | Typical cancellation charge |
|---|---|
| More than 60 days | Loss of deposit |
| 60–31 days | Around 35% of the tour price |
| 30–15 days | Around 50% of the tour price |
| 14 days or fewer | Up to 100% of the tour price |
Higher charges may apply for peak-season travel, such as Christmas, New Year and Easter. Airline tickets, cruise deposits and similar committed supplier costs may be non-refundable in addition to the charges above, and a small bank or refund-processing fee may apply. No refund is given for a no-show or for unused services once travel has begun.
Occasionally we may need to change or cancel arrangements. Most changes are minor and we will let you know as soon as we reasonably can. If we make a significant change to, or cancel, your confirmed arrangements for reasons within our control, we will offer you, where possible, a choice of accepting the change, choosing a comparable alternative journey, or receiving a full refund of what you have paid us for the affected arrangements.
We will not be liable to pay compensation where a change or cancellation is caused by force majeure (see clause 13), by your failure to pay on time, or by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If you wish to change a confirmed booking, the lead traveller should ask us in writing and we will do our best to help. Changes may attract a reasonable administration fee together with any additional supplier costs, all of which we will confirm to you before proceeding. Some items, such as issued flight tickets, cannot be amended and may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking.
Where a refund is due, it is made to the original payer using the original payment method, net of any non-recoverable supplier costs and any applicable bank or processing fee, normally within a reasonable period after the amount is agreed. In some circumstances, particularly where we cancel for reasons beyond our control, a refund may be offered as future travel credit. No refund is due for services not used during your trip or for a no-show.
We strongly recommend that every traveller holds comprehensive travel insurance for the whole journey, covering at least cancellation and curtailment, medical expenses and repatriation, and personal belongings, and appropriate to any activities planned. It is your responsibility to ensure your cover is adequate. We will not be liable for losses that suitable insurance would have covered.
It is your responsibility to hold a valid passport, to obtain any visas or entry permits, and to meet all health, vaccination and entry requirements for the countries you visit and transit. Many destinations, including Egypt, require a passport valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates. We are happy to share general guidance, but we cannot accept responsibility for missing or incorrect travel documents, and any resulting costs, denied boarding or refused entry are your responsibility. Please check the official requirements for your nationality well before you travel.
We want every traveller to enjoy their journey. We, our guides and our suppliers may decline to carry or accommodate anyone whose behaviour is likely to cause danger, distress or damage, or to disrupt others. In such cases the arrangements for that person may be ended without refund and we will have no further responsibility to them. You are responsible for any loss or damage you cause and may be asked to meet the cost directly.
We take care to select reputable suppliers and to coordinate your journey well. Where we act as organiser or as agent for third-party suppliers, such as hotels, cruises, airlines and ground operators, those services are also subject to the suppliers' own terms and, where relevant, to international conventions that may limit or exclude a carrier's liability.
We do not accept liability for loss, injury, illness, delay or irregularity caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control or by the acts or omissions of third parties not connected with providing your arrangements. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations, or for cancellation, where this is caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Such events include, but are not limited to, war or threat of war, terrorism, civil unrest or riots, serious disease outbreaks or epidemics, natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes and adverse weather, fire, acts of government or public authorities, border closures, industrial disputes and strikes, and technical or transport problems.
If something is not right during your trip, please tell your guide, representative or hotel straight away so we have the chance to put it right on the spot. Most concerns can be resolved quickly this way. If a matter cannot be resolved locally, please contact our team, and if you remain dissatisfied after your journey, write to us at admin@tourkom.com within 30 days of your return so we can investigate fully.
As an Egyptian-registered company, unresolved complaints may also be raised with the Egyptian Travel Agents Association (ETAA) and, ultimately, the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities in Cairo.
Please tell us about any special requests, such as dietary needs, room type or accessibility requirements, at the time of booking. We will pass them to the relevant suppliers and do our best to meet them, but they cannot be guaranteed and do not form part of your contract unless we have confirmed them to you in writing. If you have a medical condition or disability that may affect your journey, please let us know in advance so we can advise on suitability.
From time to time we may wish to feature photographs or short videos from journeys on our website or social channels. We will only use images that identify you with your consent, and you may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting admin@tourkom.com.
Sample itineraries and confirmed programs are statements of intent rather than rigid guarantees. Timings, the order of visits and named hotels or properties may change for reasons such as weather, local conditions, opening hours, transport schedules or availability. Where a change is needed, we aim to provide arrangements of a comparable standard.
These Terms and any dispute arising from them or from your travel arrangements are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Cairo, Egypt, have jurisdiction.
These Terms describe how we work and reflect common practice in the Egyptian travel industry. They are provided for information and are not legal advice. The specific terms that apply to your journey are those set out in your written quotation and booking confirmation.
