Lebanon
Mountains, coast and Mediterranean soul

About Lebanon

Overview

Lebanon offers an intense concentration of history, cuisine, and natural beauty along the eastern Mediterranean. Ancient Roman temples at Baalbek, one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited towns at Byblos, and dramatic cedar forests share the map with a lively capital famed for food and nightlife. Mountains rise steeply from the coast, so it is possible to ski and swim on the same day. Warm hospitality and legendary Lebanese cuisine define the experience.
